When you visit the website you will be asked for your user name and password.

 

If you do not remember these details or you have not registered please email support@carevista.net

The first time you login to the site you will be asked to change your password.  This is for security reasons and you change your password again at any time, by clicking on the 'Change password' link.

 

Choose a new password of at least 6 characters or more and repeat in new password

You will then come to this screen Fig 3

This confirms your password has been changed and updated successfully

Now ‘click me to continue’

 

Remember in future when you log on the system you will use your login followed by the new password that you have just chosen and that will take you immediately to Fig 4

 

The following screen is a greeting stating that you are now logged on to the system.

Now, click on 'Home Update' under the blue banner, to update your home details

Choose the county your home is in from drop down bar, if you have homes in other counties and you are updating a group select Proprietor you will have to click on each home, otherwise if you only have one home it will default straight to your home.  

Remember select another county if you have other homes in different counties to update, that are not registered to the same proprietor. Highlight the home you want to amend the details of, tick the boxes and fill in the details as much as possible. When completed click on ‘update home details’ box in bottom right hand corner.

UPDATE HOME DETAILS

Please update as much information as you can as this is what will be posted to the web site.

Remember that clients accepted are what the home is registered to accept according to ‘CSCI’ The Commission for Social Care Inspection

Also if you are a Care Home with Nursing, that accepts Residential please tick the box indicated

If you have specialised care you can put these details in your description or further details.

 VACANCY UPDATES

To add / remove or confirm no change vacancies click on the heading ‘Vacancy Updates’ select the home

Select the vacancy type: Do you want ‘Social Care’ and the ‘Public’ to see it or just one or the other?

 

Most vacancies will fall into ‘Public and Professional’ therefore you will not need to select the as it defaults to Public and Professional

View ‘Public and Professional’, select the room type, the vacancy type (accordingly Nursing or Residential or either),

The fee band for Social Care

Fee Band explanation for Professional Rates 

Social Care = you accept clients at your local Social Care Rates

Client Dependent = Might accept Social Care with top up or if Nursing depends on Care package

Self Funded = probably the cost is outside of the local Social Care price, private funded

Public fee range: The minimum amount accepted to the maximum accepted on a vacancy

Stay type: All means willing to accept Respite whilst the vacancy is available, or choose Long Term if you wont accept respite.

The number of beds: available

Date available: Will default to today, select from calendar if different

The date is automatically defaulted to today, so if the bed is not available till next month click on the calendar and select the date you require.

Remember to tick the client group accepted for this vacancy.

 

Remember you can show bed vacancies to both the Social Services and or Private only by selecting the ‘Vacancy audience type’

 

Then click on ‘save/update vacancy’

 

For each new vacancy click on ‘Add new vacancy’ and select the criteria required.  Each time ‘save update vacancy’

 

If there is no change to a current vacancy/no vacancy situation click ‘No changes’ 

 

To remove any vacancies, firstly highlight the vacancy then click on ‘delete vacancy’, (this button will not work and show light grey if you have no vacancies)

Be aware the system always defaults to 1 when there are no vacancies

As long as there is nothing in the vacancy box, there are no actual vacancies

Just to put your mind at rest go to you home details page to view what you are advertising

VACANCY SEARCHES

 As a Home Manger you can view other homes by clicking on ‘vacancy search’.

(You cannot amend or change details of any home apart from your own)

 

 

Don’t forget to log off using the blue header bar
